I recently went to In-N-Out and ordered and ranked every burger, from the hamburger to the famous Double-Double.

  • I recently tried every burger on In-N-Out's chief and "not-so-secret" card.
  • My least favorite burger I tried from In-Northward-Out was the apparently hamburger.
  • The best burger I tried was the super flavorful and well-priced Double-Double "animal style" burger.

My to the lowest degree favorite burger at In-North-Out was, perhaps unsurprisingly, the plain hamburger.

It came on a warm toasty bun and toll $2.eighty.

The beef patty was crispy and had a nice flavor to it.

However, it definitely needed some kind of topping. This order is actually only for children or people with picky palettes.

The cheeseburger was slightly better.

It price just $3.15, though I didn't call back information technology was necessarily worth it considering yous can get a much larger, more flavorful burger for a slightly college toll.

It comes with ane beef patty and a piece of American cheese.

The bun was toasted and the melted cheese covered the entirety of the crispy beef.

Nonetheless, despite being slightly ameliorate than the hamburger, I probably wouldn't order this again.

If I did, I would definitely enquire for extra toppings similar ketchup, mustard, onions, or pickles.

The 4x4 is the largest burger at In-N-Out and is part of the chain's "non-so-secret" menu.

As well called the "Quad Quad," the mammoth burger comes with 4 beefiness patties, four cheese slices, lettuce, tomato, spread, and the option to add onions. It toll $7.20 at the In-Due north-Out location I visited, making it the virtually expensive burger I tried.

The ginormous burger was difficult to hold in i hand, let alone bite into.

Looking at it, it was justsomuch meat. Yous would have to have a really big appetite to get through the unabridged affair, I would imagine.

All of the elements of the burger were delicious, from the juicy beef patties to the layers of cheese and fresh lettuce and tomato.

Still, information technology was much too big for me. I definitely couldn't, and wouldn't, eat this if not for this taste test. It was over-the-acme filling, and the vegetables did little to balance out how much meat and cheese were in the burger. The buns likewise began to fall apart while I was eating it.

I also tried a Double-Double poly peptide-style.

As part of the chain's "not-so-surreptitious" menu, yous can society any burger wrapped in lettuce rather than buns. The burger cost $four.50.

I was surprised that swapping out the buns for lettuce didn't impact the price at all. I would have idea it would be cheaper to get lettuce buns, just I guess that'southward not necessarily the case.

It came with 2 burger patties, cheese, tomato, lettuce, and spread.

I'm not usually a fan of lettuce-wrapped burgers, just I wanted to give this celebrity-favorite order a shot. Kylie Jenner reportedly orders her burger this fashion when she stops by In-Northward-Out.

I felt there was style likewise much lettuce on this lower-carb burger.

I thought the lettuce fabricated the burger and then watery that I couldn't really savour the other ingredients. It was definitely lighter than the other burgers I tried, but when I'm going to a fast-food joint, that's not usually my goal.

It wasn't a "lettuce bun" — it was only lettuce.

Information technology comes with two beef patties, lettuce, tomato, spread, and optional onions.

In that location was a generous serving of each of the ingredients, from the lettuce and lycopersicon esculentum to the thick layer of spread on the bottom of the burger.

The absence of cheese allowed the other ingredients to really come through.

It tasted a little lighter and was definitely more manageable to consume than some of the other big burgers. The lettuce and tomato plant tasted really fresh, while the spread added enough flavor to make upwardly for the lack of cheese.

This burger really impressed me, even though I practice personally adopt cheese on my burgers.

This burger was much easier to consume than the 4x4.

Each beef patty was perfectly coated in tangy, gooey cheese. It had a perfect amount of crisp lettuce and lycopersicon esculentum to balance out the meat and cheese.

The burger was easier to concord and eat than the larger version.

The buns held up better. Overall, despite the generous portion of meat and cheese, information technology tasted balanced.

I also ordered a manifestly Double-Double, which is In-Due north-Out'south version of a double cheeseburger.

Well-nigh Double-Double burgers come up with lettuce, tomato, onions, and spread. I ordered information technology without lettuce and lycopersicon esculentum since I would too exist trying another Double-Double with those ingredients. I ordered it with merely onions, pickles, and spread. The burger price $4.l.

The patties were incredibly juicy merely had a nice char on the exterior.

The cheese slices were perfectly melted and coated each function of the burger, something I couldn't say about any other burger I tried.

The bun was perfectly soft and held everything together perfectly, while the special spread had my mouth watering for another seize with teeth.

The burger was beyond flavorful, the perfect size, and shockingly inexpensive.

Information technology was by far the best double cheeseburger I've always had from a fast-food restaurant.

By far, the best burger I tried at In-Due north-Out was the Double-Double "animal style."

Erin McDowell/Insider

The Double-Double unremarkably comes with 2 beef patties, 2 slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and spread, but "animal style" is slightly different.

Still, it doesn't affect the price. My burger cost only $four.50, which I idea was a really expert deal for the huge, flavorful burger I received.

If you order your burger "animal mode," the beef patties will exist cooked in mustard and come with all the aforementioned toppings, plus pickles and extra spread, and the onions volition be grilled.

The burger was non but picture-perfect, only it was probably the best fast-nutrient burger I've always eaten.

The pickles were tart and crunchy, the beef patties were over-the-summit juicy and flavorful, and the cheese-to-meat ratio was perfect.

The onions came through and added a lot of season and I actually liked the spread. It was super savory and different any other sauce I've had on a fast-nutrient burger before.

The burger itself was also very large, and all the ingredients tasted fresh. The cheese was also flavorful and thick.

After eating my way through the entire In-North-Out burger menu, I could really empathize why the fast-food concatenation has such a cult post-obit.

None of the burgers I tried were bad, per se. Some merely had more than exciting elements than others.

The next time I'm back at In-Northward-Out, I'll definitely order a Double-Double animal fashion, but I wouldn't hesitate to order a double cheeseburger, 3x3, or even the Double Meat again.
